Townhouse

Architect:

This contemporary duplex townhouse designed by Hulena Architects is the first home for a talented young musician who loves to cook.

Spread over three floors, the lower ground is dedicated to a moody music studio where the necessary acoustic levels have been achieved through ceiling panels, wallpaper, floor rugs and velvet curtains and upholstery.

On the first floor one encounters a light flooded open plan kitchen and living where we have created balance and depth through a combination of materials and tones-light oak timber shelving against dark lacquer cabinetry and Dekton benchtops has been expertly installed byCAB Cabinetry with strategically positioned architectural lighting by Inlite.

Oak flooring and doors and textured fabric-like wallpapers are used throughout to complement Aalto paint colours. The finished result is masculine but welcoming, warm and textured and totally functional.
