Mario Botta – The Space Beyond follows the architect as he travels the world to oversee projects and prepare for an exhibition of his work in Locarno, Switzerland.

Directors Loretta Dalpozzo and Volonte’ Michele travel to China, South Korea, Israel, Italy and Switzerland, revealing Botta’s tireless passion, his work and creative process.

Known for manipulating cultural and natural elements of a landscape to create breathtakingly beautiful sights, Botta is one of the few architects who has built places of prayer for the three main monotheistic religions. These include the San Giovanni Battista Church in Mogno, Switzerland, and the Cymbalista Synagogue and Jewish Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.
