This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Home of the Year Awards – a huge milestone for this widely celebrated programme that explores exceptional New Zealand residential architecture.
Below are the 22 incredible Home of the Year 2025 finalists. As you are reading this, the Home of the Year judges, Paul Clarke of Studio2 Architects, Eva Nash of Rogan Nash Architects, and architecture critic Federico Monsalve, are travelling around New Zealand visiting every finalist to decide on a winner for each of the categories, as well as the overall winner – the project that will be named the 2025 Home of the Year, and be awarded a $10,000 cash prize.
The winning projects will feature in the April/May 2025 issue of HOME, and across all HOME channels, with the winners announced at an exclusive awards evening in Auckland in late March.
