The second finalist in Home of the Year 2018 is an incredible clifftop home

We are delighted to bring you the second piece of inspiring architecture that has made the finalists for Home of the Year 2018. Following an intense week of judging with Mel Bright and Nicholas Stevens, HOME editor Simon Farrell-Green sat down with Homes to Love to share what made this project on Waiheke Island so special.

Take a tour through this incredible clifftop home above and check out the Auckland home by architect Guy Tarrant that was named our first finalist below. Make sure you keep an eye on Instagram @homenewzealand or follow #homeoftheyear2018 for an inside look. Thanks, as ever, to our principal sponsor Altherm Window Systems for their loyal support.
