Theatre of comfort

In Milan, on the 60th anniversary of the Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand Collection, Cassina took to the stage — quite literally — with a dramatic performance and installation at the Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber.

Staging Modernity questioned the tension between modernist ideals and contemporary realities, inviting visitors to reflect on an ever-evolving design vision — one that moves away from the industrial and rational, and instead embraces a wilder, more natural ecology. 

To mark the occasion, the first four models of the iconic collection were reissued in three new colourways — a fresh, glossy reinterpretation of the classic pieces.
